Week 1

Jane Goodal

According to her Qoute, Her idea behide this qoute is that if the person who try very hard to do something and never give up. at the end he or she will suceed. what i try to do to represent this qoute is that at the beginning of the design, it will be abit complicated and really hard to pass through but after passing that point. she will reach the place that more relaxing.

Stephen Hawking
For his qoute, he explain that human are just a small living thing but what make them special is that they have knowledge, they know what the other dont know. for this qoute i use the design principle as a major consideration which is focal point. the object in the middle should be some thing very simple but surrounding with random object. the surrounding objects are used to enhance the object in the middle and make it more special.

Simple

This stair is made of white colored plastic reflect the pain and simple of it properties. also the journey is quite short and just go straight to the studio.

Family
The material is hard plastic with light color and steel. I decide the connect each stair with the ceiling by cylinder steel to express the term reliableness which the member in the family rely on each other.

The underground studio expressed the "family". there are the connection between each of the circular form to represent the relation of the member in the family.

This is the plan view of the second sketchup model which the word is simple and family.
